Public Infrastructure Subcouncil, Competitiveness Policy Council
Working with a 30-member panel of transportation experts headed by Gerald L. Baliles, former Governor of Virginia, in the early 1990's, we produced a consensus document on improving transportation and telecommunications services and financing. The subcouncil was one of eight subcouncils established by the Competitiveness Policy Council, a bipartisan federal advisory commission charged with developing policy recommendations to improve U.S. competitiveness. |
